Charlie’s Lucky is a handsome gelding who came into the HART program on 8/23/19 after 9 starts.  He had surgery to remove chips in both knees at Iowa State Large Animal Veterinary Hospital on 8/28/19 and has successfully completed his rehab protocol. Our veterinarian has cleared Charlie’s Lucky to start his new career in any direction!

We were told by Charlie’s Lucky’s former connections he is calm, loves attention and peppermints and they were right. Charlie’s Lucky is incredibly sweet and well mannered on the ground. He thoroughly enjoys attention and loves to work! Charlie’s Lucky is a fancy mover. He has just started post track training. He cross ties, ties, lunges both ways nicely and will start under saddle work soon. Charlie’s Lucky has no known stall vices and is going to be a wonderful partner for his adopter.
