Mafia Don is a tall good looking gelding that came into the HART program 7/24/2023. Mafia Don enjoyed some well-deserved time to let down from track life. He had 34 starts over 5 racing seasons with a (2, 6, 5) race record and earnings of $49,794. Our veterinarian assessed Mafia Don and it was decided he needed chips removed from his left knee. He had surgery on 9/29/2023 to remove the chips. Surgery was successful and Mafia Don’s recovery was uneventful. His rehab is complete and he has returned to work. Under saddle Mafia Don is a straight forward and uncomplicated ride. He has a lovely disposition and enjoys attention!
