Maneater Stroll is a tall, lovely mare who came into the HART program 9/6/2020 because she was not competitive after 5 starts at the track. Her connections told us she consistently ran out of air at 5 furlongs. Our veterinarian scoped her airway and determined she has larayngeal hemiplegia (paralysis of the left arytenoid cartilages) which occurs in 2-8% of horses. This means Maneater Stroll is not suitable for racing or upper level eventing. However, the good news is she is sound, and suitable for most any other riding discipline.
