Dr Hipp is a nicely bred, tall, handsome gelding who came into the HART program 9/16/2020 after sustaining a LF non-displaced sesamoid fracture. His breeding and great conformation commanded a $225,000 sale price as a 2 year old. Dr Hipp went on to race at 9 tracks with 17 starts and a (4-1-2) race record and total earnings of $118,276.

He is currently on stall rest while his ankle heals. Once cleared by our vet he will move on to hand walking, small turnout, and eventually large turnout. Once his rehab is complete we’ll see what second career options are suitable for this handsome guy.
