Giermo
Giermo is a handsome Chestnut gelding who came into the HART program after 12 starts on 5 different tracks. His sire Hurricane Ike earned just shy of $600k and his grandsire is Lemon Drop Kid who earned over $3 million, won the Belmont in 1999 and was the 2000 Eclipse Award winner for Champion Older Horse. Giermo is sound with known injuries so should be suitable for all disciplines.
When Giermo arrived at HART he was having some hoof issues, but his feet are improving steadily. He is currently wearing shoes on his front feet and is doing well. Giermo has good ground manners and is a sweet guy who enjoys people and attention. He gets along well with 3 other geldings in a small pasture and has adjusted well to life on the farm. This classy gelding is going to make a great partner for some lucky adopter. Come meet Giermo. You’ll love him!
