Bay Mare (Brethren – Tale Of Peace by Peace Rules)

Joplin is a lovely mare who came into the HART program 6/28/2022 after 37 starts at 8 different tracks with a (4, 4, 5) race record and earnings of $69,935. This classy gal has been through 5 ownership changes over 4 racing seasons. Joplin sustained a LF sesamoid injury on 6/24/2022 that thankfully didn’t require surgery and a favorable outcome is expected by our veterinarian based on the location of the injury. We like to allow extra time for healing and will reassess Joplin spring 2023.

Once her rehab is complete and she is cleared to return to work by the veterinarian we will assess second career options for Joplin. Her trainer reports she is quiet, calm and loves peppermints and attention. We look forward to matching her with the forever home she deserves!
