Dark Bay/Brown Mare (Jafmil – Going Helfast by Valid Belfast)

Wow! This striking mare is the total package. She is gorgeous, athletic, stout, and has an exceptionally quiet, calm disposition to top it off. Womanizing Willie hasn’t put a foot down wrong since we picked her up.

Womanizing Willie came into the HART program on 10/7/2020 because she was showing no interest in being a racehorse. She had only 4 starts, all this year as a 5 year old. We were told she sometimes had swelling in her knees after a hard workout so we had our veterinarian take some precautionary radiographs of her knees.

The radiographs revealed a chip in her right knee and some minor cartilage clean-up needed in the left knee. Womanizing Willie had bilateral arthroscopic knee surgery at Iowa State Large Animal Hospital on 10/15/2020. We’re happy to report the chip was easily removed with no damage to the knee joint. Once her rehab is complete Womanizing Willie is going to be able to move on to a second career with no limitations! She should be cleared for adoption early 2021.
